Hubballi witnessed high drama as police opened fire on two robbery suspects, Irshad and Akbar, after they attempted to flee during interrogation. The duo, involved in a daring house robbery, was shot in the legs in what authorities termed an act of self-defense.

The incident unfolded when Basavaraj, an alleged accomplice, drove out in a high-end car and targeted a neighboring house for a robbery. The gang’s activities soon came to light, leading to their arrest. However, during questioning, the suspects made a desperate bid to escape, prompting police to resort to gunfire.
In a shocking twist, security guards linked to the criminals reportedly set fire to the luxury vehicle used in the robbery. This drastic step was allegedly taken to eliminate evidence and prevent identification. A video of the burning car has since surfaced, adding weight to suspicions that the gang had planned to destroy all possible traces of their involvement.
