Mangli, known for her chartbuster “Kannu Hodiyaka” from the Kannada film Roberrt, had hosted a private party with 48 attendees. During the raid, police reportedly found narcotic substances including ganja and other drugs, as well as foreign liquor being consumed at the premises.

Following the raid, all attendees were subjected to drug testing. Of the 48 individuals tested, nine returned positive results for drug consumption, according to official sources. The police have since filed cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and the Noise Pollution Act.

Authorities are currently investigating how the substances were sourced and whether more individuals were involved in trafficking or distribution.

While Mangli’s role in the drug consumption is yet to be confirmed, the presence of narcotics at her birthday party has raised serious concerns. The police are expected to question all attendees in further detail in the coming days.

This incident adds to a growing list of high-profile drug-related controversies linked to the entertainment industry in the region.
