Speaking in an exclusive interview, Pooja reflected on the irony of her life mirroring the plot of "Daddy," a film she starred in at 17, where she portrayed a young girl saving her father from alcoholism. The father-daughter duo is now set to explore the depths of addiction in their upcoming podcast, "Maine Dil Se Kaha," produced by actor Imran Zahid. This podcast, coinciding with Mahesh Bhatt's birthday, aims to break the stigma surrounding addiction, particularly highlighting the gender-neutral nature of the issue.

Pooja emphasized the importance of addressing shame and secrecy often associated with addiction, especially among women, advocating for open discussions as a path to recovery. Through their podcast, the Bhatts intend to dissect their personal battles, offering insights into overcoming addiction from both male and female perspectives.

"Maine Dil Se Kaha" promises to be a candid exploration of one of humanity's shared vulnerabilities, providing hope and understanding to those walking similar paths.
