Prabhas’ first look as ‘Rudra’ in Kannappa sparks speculation

Actor Prabhas’ first-look poster from the highly anticipated Telugu mythological film Kannappa has ignited curiosity and debate among fans. Ever since Kannappa was announced by Manchu Vishnu, there were strong rumors that Prabhas would portray Lord Shiva. However, the recent reveal of Akshay Kumar as Shiva in another poster released in January has led to alternative theories. Some believe Prabhas could be playing Nandi, Shiva’s loyal mount, or a divine messenger. Now, with his character officially named “Rudra,” another possibility has emerged—Prabhas might be portraying Rudra Pasupati Nayanar, one of the 63 Nayanar saints known for their deep devotion to Lord Shiva.
