Prabhas starrer 'Kalki 2898 AD' sells 2 lakh tickets in 24 hours, earning over Rs 6 crore in advance bookings

With just two days remaining before the release of the highly anticipated film "Kalki 2898 AD," starring Prabhas, fans are eagerly awaiting the chance to watch it. The film’s team provided an advance ticket booking option, which has seen an overwhelming response. In a remarkable feat, over 2 lakh tickets were sold within 24 hours in India alone, generating more than 6 crore rupees.

Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Chalasani Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies, "Kalki 2898 AD" has generated substantial pre-release buzz. Data-tracking portal Sacnilk reported that the film amassed over Rs 6 crore in advance bookings as of Monday morning at 10:30 AM.

Advance bookings began on Sunday, with significant ticket sales reported across various states including Karnataka, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu. According to Sacnilk, as of 11 AM on June 24, 2.1 lakh tickets had been sold, amounting to 6.25 crore rupees in revenue from advance sales alone.

The film's popularity extends beyond Indian borders. Internationally, "Kalki 2898 AD" has sold 113,000 tickets, with North American sales contributing 3 million USD. This widespread enthusiasm underscores the global appeal of the film and the star power of Prabhas.
