Prajwal Revanna appeared before the Special Court of People's Representatives in connection with the Holenarseepur Thane Crime 107/2024 case. The hearing saw Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) Ashok Naik representing the Special Investigation Team (SIT), while Prajwal Revanna was represented by his counsel.
During the proceedings, the judge inquired about Prajwal Revanna's health, to which he responded affirmatively when asked if he had taken prescribed medication for his back pain. Despite this, the court extended his judicial custody until July 8, as per the order issued by Justice KN Shivakumar.
His advocate submitted a memo requesting medical treatment in a hospital, citing issues related to gastric and back pain. The judge advised that such requests should first be presented to the jail authorities, and if not addressed, could be brought before the court.
Additionally, the court considered an application for Revanna’s admission to an external hospital for treatment, which will be reviewed based on medical records provided.
In a related development, another court reserved judgment on Prajwal Revanna's bail application in a separate rape case. The hearing was conducted by Judge Santosh Gajanan Bhat, with Advocate Arun arguing on behalf of Prajwal and SPP BN Jagadish representing the SIT. The bench is set to pronounce its verdict on June 26, 2024.
The judicial proceedings continue to draw significant attention, reflecting the complexity and high-profile nature of the cases involving Prajwal Revanna.
