Operation Sindoor was launched in response to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir which took away the life of 26 innocent civilians.
Rather than addressing global concerns about Muridke being a long-known base of operations for LeT which is a designated terror organization, Pakistan’s minister instead used the platform to take a jab at India’s technological advancements. He mocked India’s use of ‘pride-filled’ technology claiming it had failed to bring real change or fear, despite Indian forces targeting their locations precisely.
The decision to publicly promise the restoration of a place with direct links to terror groups has raised eyebrows internationally, especially in light of Pakistan’s history of breeding terrorists. Critics say this move reflects Pakistan’s continued unwillingness to take accountability for terrorist activities launched from its soil.
