Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to launch the 2023 Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Summit today at 5:30 pm, taking place at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The summit, running from December 12 to 14, brings together influential figures from diverse sectors, signifying a pivotal juncture for the collective progress of artificial intelligence (AI).
As the host city, New Delhi is buzzing with anticipation, preparing to receive key stakeholders, experts, and enthusiasts in the AI field. The opening ceremony will establish the framework for three days of engaging discussions, thoughtful deliberations, and collaborative efforts.Since its establishment in June 2020, India has played a substantial role in the Summit, actively participating in numerous initiatives aimed at promoting the development, deployment, and adoption of open, safe, secure, and accountable AI.
