Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked his 73rd birthday, and celebrations were underway across the nation.

BJP leaders and party workers joined in the festivities at various locations. To commemorate this special day, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the first phase of the India International Convention Centre (IICC), named ‘Yashobhoomi,’ located in Dwarka, New Delhi.

Additionally, he also inaugurated the extension of the Delhi Airport Metro Express Line, which connects Dwarka Sector 21 to a newly constructed metro station at Dwarka Sector 25.

Coinciding with ‘Vishwakarma Jayanti’ on September 17, PM Modi unveiled his government’s ambitious initiative, “PM Vishwakarma,” designed to support artisans, craftsmen, and individuals engaged in traditional skills. The Union Cabinet had granted approval for the nationwide implementation of the PM Vishwakarma Yojana on August 16, 2023.

Simultaneously, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reached out to diverse segments of society and organized various welfare activities across the country as part of the ‘Sewa Pakhwara’ (fortnight of service) initiative, launched to commemorate PM Modi’s birthday. This tradition has been upheld by the BJP annually for several years and will continue until October 2, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

During the ‘Sewa Pakhwara,’ BJP members actively engaged in a range of activities, including disseminating information about the government’s accomplishments and participating in welfare activities such as blood donation drives, cleanliness campaigns, and health camps.
