Prince Harry will mark his 40th birthday on September 15 with a special weekend trip, celebrating away from wife Meghan Markle. According to reports, the Duke of Sussex will spend the occasion in the company of close friends, while Meghan stays in California with their children, Archie and Lilibet.

The celebration follows a private family gathering at the couple’s Montecito home, but Harry plans to reconnect with his UK-based friends during the boys-only getaway. This echoes the Duke's past solo celebrations, including his infamous 30th birthday and a controversial Las Vegas trip in 2012.

Reportedly, sources close to Harry have indicated that he is increasingly disillusioned with life in the United States and has been strengthening ties with old friends back in the UK. Meghan, meanwhile, has opted out of this trip, focusing on their children and family life in California.

Despite any personal challenges, Harry remains active in his charitable work. He is scheduled to make a solo appearance in New York later this month during Climate Week and the United Nations General Assembly, continuing his philanthropic efforts.

As he reaches this milestone, Harry has spoken of his love for fatherhood, calling Archie and Lilibet the "best gifts" he's ever received.
