Patel emphasized that Pahalgam now joins cities like Mumbai and New Delhi in bearing the scars of terrorism. She referred to the incident as a clear act of terror and insisted that the UK must recognize the continued threat posed by terror groups operating from Pakistan.

While advocating for diplomatic efforts and de-escalation between India and Pakistan, Patel also asserted India’s right to defend itself. She stressed that the UK should support India in taking measured and proportionate actions against terrorism, including dismantling terror infrastructure that targets both India and Western interests.
