Stressing that Darshan grew up in harsh circumstances, he also noted that Renukaswamy’s murder was due to the rapid influence of social media. If Renukaswamy had not sent lewd messages to Pavitra Gowda on social media, the murder would not have happened. He also urged people to contribute generously in order to bail out Renukaswamy’s family out of trouble.

Currently, all the accused are in police custody. During interrogation today, A1 Pavitra Gowda reportedly fell ill and was taken to the hospital.

The case

The case involves Renukaswamy, a pharmacy worker, who was kidnapped, brought to Bengaluru, led into a shed, and brutally beaten for sending inappropriate messages to Pavitra Gowda. After Renukaswamy succumbed to his injuries, his body was disposed of in a drain. In this case, Darshan is referred to as A2, and Pavitra Gowda as A1.
