Hyderabad witnessed tense scenes on Sunday evening as protesters vandalized the residence of actor Allu Arjun in Jubilee Hills. The demonstrators, claiming to be members of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OU JAC), demanded the actor provide greater financial support to the family of a stampede victim from a recent Pushpa 2: The Rule promotional event.

According to visuals shared by Big TV, the protesters pelted Arjun’s house with stones and tomatoes, broke flower pots, and held placards demanding ₹1 crore compensation for the family of the deceased woman, Revathi. One protester alleged that while film industry personalities supported Arjun during his recent legal troubles, they ignored the victim's family.

The controversy stems from a December 4 incident when Arjun’s visit to Sandhya Theatre with co-star Rashmika Mandanna caused a stampede-like situation, resulting in Revathi’s death and severe injuries to her young son. Arjun was briefly arrested on December 13 but released on interim bail the next day.
Fresh allegations from Telangana CM Revanth Reddy claim Arjun was aware of the tragedy while at the theater, a claim the actor denies. Further developments are awaited.
