Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has demanded the dismissal of Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar. Raut claimed the teenager was served pizza and a burger at the police station post-detention. He further accused an MLA from Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s NCP faction of being present at the police station to assist the boy.

Raut questioned who might be aiding the accused and reiterated his call for the suspension of the Pune Police Commissioner. He warned that failing to take action might compel the people of Pune to protest.

The incident has ignited a debate over the influence of wealth and political connections on the legal system, raising concerns about justice and accountability. As investigations continue, public scrutiny remains high on both the police’s conduct and the political figures allegedly involved.

As the news of the bail spread, netizens expressed their outrage over the incident. While some wondered he has been treated with kid gloves, others alleged he should be treated as an adult.
