Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa 2: The Rule has surged past Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan to claim the title of the second highest-grossing Hindi film. The blockbuster, directed by Sukumar, continues its box office dominance with remarkable collections.

Jawan, directed by Atlee, had earlier shattered records with a Hindi collection of ₹582.31 crore, surpassing Shah Rukh Khan’s own Pathaan (₹524 crore). However, Pushpa 2 has now eclipsed Jawan, amassing ₹591.1 crore from its Hindi version within 13 days, according to Sacnilk, with total worldwide earnings reaching ₹953 crore.

The unprecedented success of Pushpa 2 places it within striking distance of surpassing Stree 2 (₹597.99 crore), which currently holds the top spot among Hindi films. Trade analysts predict Pushpa 2 will not only break this record but also become the first Bollywood film to cross the ₹600 crore mark in Hindi collections.

The film's box office journey has been exceptional. In its opening week, Pushpa 2 collected ₹425 crore in Hindi, adding ₹166 crore in its second weekend alone. Trade expert Komal Nahta attributes the phenomenal performance to its universal appeal, noting that differences in collections between Hindi and Telugu markets are primarily due to ticket price caps in the Telugu-speaking regions.

With its success across languages, Pushpa 2 continues to blaze a trail, cementing its legacy in Indian cinema.
