Overall, across all languages, Pushpa 2 has grossed ₹1202.2 crore, further cementing its blockbuster status. The film’s storyline, where Allu Arjun plays Pushpa Raj, supported by Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli and Fahadh Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, has captivated audiences nationwide.
Amidst its success, a third installment, Pushpa 3: The Rampage, has been announced. However, the film faced controversy following a tragic stampede at its premiere, leading to the death of a 35-year-old woman and injuries to her son. Allu Arjun was briefly arrested in connection with the incident and is currently out on interim bail, adhering to court-mandated appearances at the Chikkadpally police station.
Pushpa 2: The Rule has not only set new benchmarks but also brought a mix of triumph and challenges to its lead star and team.
