The highly anticipated release of Pushpa-2 in Bengaluru tomorrow has sparked controversy after allegations surfaced that several theatres are screening the movie earlier than the permitted time. The district administration has taken notice of the situation, with the Deputy Commissioner (DC) writing to Bengaluru Police Commissioner and Rural SP for immediate action.

According to the Karnataka Cinema Regulation Act, movies are only allowed to be screened from 6:30 am onwards. However, reports indicate that several theatres are showing Pushpa-2 as early as 3 am. The DC has expressed concern about this violation and urged authorities to take appropriate action against 43 theatres involved.

In addition to the early screenings, it has also been reported that tickets for these unauthorized showtimes are being sold illegally on platforms like BookMyShow. This raises further issues of compliance with regulations and fair business practices in the cinema industry.

The district administration has called for strict enforcement of the law, urging both the police and cinema authorities to ensure that all screenings of Pushpa-2 adhere to the legal guidelines. The issue has created a stir among both fans and regulatory bodies, as the film’s grand release is marred by these alleged violations.
