The much-anticipated film Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, is setting unprecedented demand even before hitting the screens. With only four days remaining until its December 5 release, advance bookings are in full swing, particularly in Hindi-speaking regions where fans are shelling out staggering amounts for tickets.

In major cities like Mumbai and Delhi, ticket prices have surpassed ₹2,000 for the Hindi-dubbed version of the film. Reports indicate that PVR cinemas in Delhi are charging as much as ₹2,400 for 2D screenings, while theaters in Mumbai, including PVR Mysore, are selling tickets for ₹2,100. Despite the steep prices, fans are scrambling to secure their seats.
IMAX screenings of Pushpa 2 have also seen ticket prices soar. At Delhi’s City Walk Mall, tickets are priced at ₹1,860, with Mumbai theaters charging between ₹1,500 and ₹1,700. PVR staff have noted that such high prices are rare, underscoring the film’s immense popularity.
Advance sales in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are equally robust. In Telangana, a special fan screening has been scheduled for December 4 at 9:30 p.m., adding to the excitement. Tickets in the region are priced at ₹800, reflecting the intense demand.
The sequel follows the massive success of Pushpa: The Rise, which captivated audiences nationwide. As fans eagerly await the film, its unprecedented hype promises to make it a box-office phenomenon.
