The eagerly anticipated "Pushpa 2: The Rule," starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, is already creating waves with its North American advance bookings. Directed by Sukumar, the sequel to 2021's hit "Pushpa: The Rise" is set for a grand release on December 5, and pre-sale numbers indicate it's on track to surpass its predecessor's records.
According to reports, "Pushpa 2" has already grossed $415,000 in North American pre-sales, eclipsing the $400,000 pre-sales figure that "Pushpa: The Rise" achieved during its release amid the pandemic. The sequel will premiere on December 4 across 715 locations and 2,750 screens in the U.S., with Canadian bookings expected to open soon.

Interest in the film is soaring in India as well, with "Pushpa 2: The Rule" topping search trends on BookMyShow. Fans are eager to see Allu Arjun return as the gritty Pushpa Raj, with Rashmika reprising her role as Srivalli and Fahadh Faasil as his rival, SP Bhanwar Singh Shekawat.
At a recent press conference in Hyderabad, producer Ravi Shankar revealed that the film has already earned ₹425 crore through non-theatrical deals, bringing total pre-release business estimate close to ₹1,000 crore.
With release in six languages, "Pushpa 2" will face competition at the box office from the Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika-starrer "Chhaava." With an ensemble cast and strong pre-release momentum, "Pushpa 2: The Rule" is poised for a powerful opening.
