After weeks of speculation about a falling out between director Sukumar and actor Allu Arjun, the much-anticipated sequel Pushpa 2: The Rule is back in production.

Recent updates on the film’s official X (formerly Twitter) account confirmed that the team is currently shooting a high-octane action sequence for the climax at Ramoji Film City.

On Monday, Pushpa’s X account shared a post revealing that the climax shoot has resumed and included a teaser clip of Allu Arjun. The tweet read, “Shoot update: Pushpa 2: The Rule is currently shooting a spectacular action episode for the climax. Pushpa 2: The Rule grand release worldwide on 6th DEC 2024.” This announcement has brought relief to fans who had been anxiously waiting for the film’s progress.

The last few weeks saw various rumours about a potential conflict between Sukumar and Arjun, especially after Arjun's brief European vacation and his decision to trim his beard. There were even speculations involving actor Fahadh Faasil, though there was no confirmation of any issues regarding dates.

With Pushpa 2: The Rule still set for a December 6, 2024 release, fans are hopeful and excited to see Arjun back on the big screen after his last appearance in 2021’s Pushpa: The Rise.
