Producer of Pushpa, Ravi Shankar, has dismissed rumours suggesting that superstar Allu Arjun and director Sukumar are linked to the ongoing legal case involving choreographer Jani Master. The 42-year-old choreographer, whose real name is Shaik Jani Basha, has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman, with charges filed under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

While promoting the film Mathu Vadalara 2 in Hyderabad, Ravi Shankar addressed the claims head-on. He clarified that the case is personal to Jani Master and the alleged victim, emphasizing that neither Arjun nor Sukumar had any involvement. "This issue is between the girl and Jani Master. She was hired a long time ago as an additional choreographer for Pushpa 2 and remains part of the project," Shankar stated.

Ravi further explained that Allu Arjun, given his prominence, wouldn’t involve himself in the matter or show favoritism. "Arjun doesn’t focus on anyone on set beyond his own work. He’s been unnecessarily dragged into this," the producer added.

The speculation arose after actor Jhansi's statements on behalf of the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, which were misinterpreted as referring to Arjun and Sukumar. Meanwhile, Jani Master is currently in judicial custody following his arrest in Goa.
