PVR INOX, renowned as India’s premier cinema exhibitor, has announced the inauguration of its latest cinema hall within Bengaluru’s Phoenix Mall of Asia. This landmark unveiling establishes the venue as the largest cinema complex in South India.
The expansive 14-screen Megaplex, situated within one of Bengaluru’s most esteemed and spacious shopping destinations, introduces three state-of-the-art premium formats – MX4D, ScreenX, and Insignia.
This momentous launch heralds a significant achievement for PVR INOX, marking the debut of the first MX4D immersive 4D movie experience and ScreenX’s innovative 270-degree cinema viewing encounter in South India.
The company views this expansion as a strategic reinforcement of its presence in Bengaluru, where it already commands a notable position with 172 screens distributed across 26 cinemas.
This 14-screen Megaplex includes the immersive MX4D format, the expansive ScreenX viewing experience, and three auditoriums adorned with PVR INOX’s opulent Insignia format. Additionally, the cinema features nine premier auditoriums, each furnished with deluxe celebrity plush recliners at the last row.
With a seating capacity accommodating up to 1,997 patrons, the new cinema boasts top-tier theatrical technology, encompassing 4K laser projection, advanced Dolby Atmos surround sound, and Volfoni 3D screens.
