The results of the 2024-25 Press Club of Bengaluru elections have been announced. The fight for the spot of President was between Dhyan Poonacha, R Sridhar and Subash Hoogar. R Sridhar emerged victorious.
Elections were also held for the spot of the Vice President, General Secretary, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer and 6 committee members. Some of the spots were reserved for women.
The election was held between 9 AM up to 2 PM on 7th July. As the number of voters were higher than expected, the time allocated for the voting process was extended. Everyone who was part of the queue was provided an opportunity to cast his or her vote. 767 of the 1040 members cast their vote.

R Sridhar secured 404 votes. Mohan Kumar secured 417 votes for the post of Vice President. Shivakumar M.D secured 336 votes for the post of the Principal Secretary. G. Ganesh secured 556 votes for the post of the Treasurer. B.Y Manjunath secured 288 votes for the post of the Secretary. Dharanesh B.N secured 195 votes to be elected as the Joint Secretary. The 6-member committee consists of Shivanna, Sharana Basappa A.H, Yasir Mushthaq, Mumtaz Aleem, Rohini Adiga and S.R Manjunath. Mini Tejaswi joined the committee through the seat reserved for women.
