In Bengaluru, the race will commence at 6 AM from St. Joseph Indian High School Ground, covering Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha, and Kasturba Road. Interested participants can register on the Racefor7 website.

Under the National Rare Disease Policy 2021, eligible patients can receive up to INR 50 lakhs for treatment. Bengaluru’s Centre of Excellence currently supports over 300 rare disease patients across Karnataka.

Organisers  emphasize the need for stronger government collaboration, stating, "Health is a state subject, and we need faster policy implementation and sustainable funding. This year, we aim to engage state governments to ensure better support."

Roche, the event’s main sponsor, reiterated its commitment to rare disease advocacy. Chief Country Access and Policy Officer Dr. Monica Puri called Racefor7 an “incredible platform” for raising awareness and ensuring no patient is left behind.

With over 10,000 participants expected, Racefor7 continues to symbolize the 7,000 rare diseases affecting millions worldwide. Registrations remain open, encouraging nationwide participation in support of the rare disease community.
