Singer Rahul Vaidya recently took to Instagram to express gratitude towards cricketer Virat Kohli for unblocking him on the platform, following a period of tension between the two. Vaidya had earlier faced backlash after calling Kohli and his fans "joker" on social media, which led to the cricketer allegedly blocking him.

In his recent post, Vaidya praised Kohli for his contributions to Indian cricket, calling him one of the best batsmen ever and a national pride. He also took the opportunity to address the hate he received following his previous comments, particularly the abusive messages directed at his wife, sister, and young daughter. Vaidya responded calmly, wishing wisdom upon those who spread negativity, explaining that he refrained from retaliating in order to avoid further spreading hostility.

The singer also extended goodwill to Kohli’s family, specifically mentioning Virat's brother, Vikas Kohli, acknowledging their past encounter and kind words about his singing. This move by Vaidya reflects his desire to put the past behind him and move forward in a more positive manner.
