In a heartwarming moment of siblings bond of love for each other on an IndiGo flight, a cabin crew member Shubha celebrated Raksha Bandhan on flight by tying a rakhi on the wrist of her brother Captain Gaurav, a pilot on the same flight. Social media users were touched by the brother’s gesture of touching his sister’s feet after tying the rakhi. The video of the same moment captured on a camera was shared on X.

Besides their hectic schedule at work, they both made time to celebrate Raksha Bandhan on their flight along with the passengers. Shubha also wished all the passengers on flight a happy Raksha Bandhan.

In the video shared on X , Shubha was seen making a special announcement on flight to celebrate Raksha Bandhan. “In a profession like ours, it is not that every year we get to celebrate festivals and special moments with our loved ones back home, because it is important for us to take you back home so you can celebrate with your loved ones. That's why, today is a very special day for me and my brother Gaurav, who is on board today to make sure that we celebrate Raksha Bandhan together after many years.” said Shubha in the video. Passengers applauded Shubha and her brother with a round of claps for the special announcement on Raksha Bandhan.

Raksha Bandhan is a festival to celebrate the bonding between siblings and it is on this festival they pledge to protect and love each other by tying rakhi on their wrist.
