Game Changer release has been pushed to 2025

Shankar's commitment to Indian 2 is the cause for delay

Production house cites unavailability of artists as cause

Ram Charan fans are upset at yet another postponement of the release of Game Changer as they have been eagerly awaiting a big release after the failure of Acharya in the box office. One of the fans took an extreme step and threatened the producers with suicide. 

“The reason I chose this tough decision is because, as a fan of Ram Charan, I have been waiting patiently for the release date of the upcoming film “Game Changer” for almost two years now. Unfortunately, there are no updates from the production team. I am giving them three days to announce the release date of the film. Otherwise, I will end my life. If that happens, the main victims of my death are Shankar Shanmugam, Dil Raju and SVC production house. I hope you will be able to understand my decision. Love you Charan anna, I miss you very much. I hope I will be a good fan of you in my next life,” said Babu Goud, an IT professional on X. 

Ram Charan- starrer Game Changer directed by Shankar  was initially slated to be released in 2023. The release was postponed to 2024 and now it has faced yet another delay pushing the release to 2025. Director Shankar’s commitment with India 2 starring Kamal Hassan is stated to be a reason for the delay although the production house claims the unavailability of artists as a cause. There are speculations that a Sankranthi release is being aimed at although there is no confirmation on this so far.
