The teaser was launched with grand screenings in nine cities across India and made a striking international debut at New York’s Times Square, emphasizing the film's worldwide ambition. Set in a divine era shaped by the celestial forces of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, the narrative follows Ravana’s rise from a cursed child to a destructive force threatening cosmic balance. To counter this chaos, Vishnu reincarnates as Rama, igniting a battle destined to shape the universe.

The film boasts a top-tier cast, including Sai Pallavi as Sita, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. Their roles add depth to the unfolding epic, which promises not just action but emotional intensity and spiritual resonance.

Adding weight to the production, music legends Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman are joining forces for the score, while renowned stunt experts Terry Notary and Guy Norris are leading the choreography of large-scale action sequences. Backed by producers Namit Malhotra and Yash, and powered by DNEG’s award-winning VFX, Ramayana will be a two-part cinematic journey, with Part 1 releasing in Diwali 2026 and Part 2 following in 2027.
