Producer Ramesh Taurani has set the record straight regarding the swirling rumours about Telugu actor Sreeleela's involvement in Varun Dhawan's upcoming comedy film. In an official statement released to the media, Taurani emphasized that casting decisions are still pending. "We have not yet approached anyone for the role. We are still in the process of finalising the cast," he stated. The producer further explained, "The first schedule has just been completed, and we will make an official announcement once we have locked someone for that role. Until then, we request audiences not to believe any rumours."

Sreeleela, known for her recent appearance in "Guntur Kaaram" alongside Mahesh Babu, has built a notable career with films like "Kiss," "Bharaate," and "Dhamaka." On the other hand, Varun Dhawan, who was last seen in "Bawaal" with Janhvi Kapoor, has a busy schedule ahead with projects like Atlee's "Baby John," "Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari," and the web series "Citadel: Honey Bunny."

With Taurani's clarification, fans can now look forward to official updates on the much-anticipated comedy film's cast.
