Bengaluru witnessed a nostalgic celebration as Appu, Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar’s debut film, re-released across Karnataka after 23 years. The re-release coincided with Puneeth’s 50th birth anniversary celebrations, drawing massive crowds of enthusiastic fans.

At Veeresh Cinema in Bengaluru, fans gathered in large numbers, dancing and celebrating their beloved star’s legacy. Adding to the excitement, actress Ramya made a special appearance to watch the film, joining Puneeth’s nephews Vinay Rajkumar and Yuva Rajkumar. The presence of Appu’s heroine Rakshita Prem the previous day had already fueled fan frenzy.

Ramya, deeply moved by the experience, shared her thoughts after the screening. “The same excitement I felt 23 years ago while watching Appu remains intact. Sitting among fans and reliving those memories was an emotional moment. The love and energy of Puneeth’s fans are truly overwhelming,” she said. However, she admitted that she deeply missed Puneeth Rajkumar, fondly known as ‘Appu’ to his admirers.
