Years before their political ascent, Chirag Paswan and Kangana Ranaut co-starred in the 2011 Bollywood film Miley Naa Miley Hum, directed by Tanveer Khan. This film marked Chirag’s acting debut, son of the late politician Ram Vilas Paswan. Despite featuring a notable cast, including Neeru Bajwa and Sagarika Ghatge, the film failed at the box office, going largely unnoticed.

The plot of Miley Naa Miley Hum revolves around Chirag, from a wealthy family, passionate about tennis, and navigating his parents’ conflicting marriage expectations. Kangana Ranaut played Anishka, a model and Chirag’s love interest. The story concludes with Chirag’s parents accepting Anishka and supporting Chirag’s tennis aspirations.

Following the film’s failure, Chirag transitioned to politics, winning the Jamui seat in Bihar during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Kangana, making her political debut in 2024, secured a victory in Mandi.
