Ranvir Shorey was unable to visit home after receiving news of mother’s health due to ‘Lakshya’ shooting schedule

Bollywood actor Ranvir Shorey has established himself as a talented artist with a wide range of abilities. He however had to deal with a period of struggle before finding success. 

In the third season of Bigg Boss OTT, Ranvir recollected that during the shooting of Hrithik Roshan starrer-Lakshya, he received the news of his mother’s health but could not leave the sets as the ‘Ladakh’ phase of the shooting was underway. He also characterised his breakup with Bollywood director Pooja Bhatt as the biggest scandal of his life. “During the same time, I also encountered the biggest scandal of my life with another actress. Unable to cope, my brother asked me to come to the US with him for a while. I pursued a six-month acting course in the States and borrowed money from my brother,” Ranvir said.

He however stated that after returning from the US, success came chasing him as he had begun shooting for The Great Indian Comedy Show in 2005. “At that time, two of my long-shelved films were greenlit for release and hit theatres back-to-back within a week, and my work was loved by audiences. After those films, I finally felt my life was steady as an actor and that I had arrived,” Ranvir added. Pyaar Ke Side Effects that released on September 15th 2006 and Khosla Ka Ghosla that released on 22nd September 2006 were both films that starred Ranvir Shorey and were widely appreciated by the audience.
