Young woman was raped in an isolated shed in Bengaluru

In a disturbing turn of events, a rape victim is now facing legal action for a road rage incident that occurred shortly before the alleged assault. The rape took place two nights ago at an isolated shed near HSR Layout, Bengaluru. The accused, 24-year-old Mukeshwaran, a dance teacher from Tamil Nadu, was apprehended yesterday by the police.

The victim, who was reportedly intoxicated at the time, was driving her car when she rammed into two auto-rickshaws. The incident occurred before the alleged rape, and the auto drivers involved lodged a complaint against her. As a result, a First Information Report (FIR) has been filed, charging her with overspeeding and causing damage to the auto-rickshaws.

The road rage incident adds a complex layer to the ongoing investigation, as the victim now faces charges of reckless driving. However, the focus remains on the more serious crime of sexual assault.
