The victim, who was reportedly intoxicated at the time, was driving her car when she rammed into two auto-rickshaws. The incident occurred before the alleged rape, and the auto drivers involved lodged a complaint against her. As a result, a First Information Report (FIR) has been filed, charging her with overspeeding and causing damage to the auto-rickshaws.

The road rage incident adds a complex layer to the ongoing investigation, as the victim now faces charges of reckless driving. However, the focus remains on the more serious crime of sexual assault. Mukeshwaran is accused of taking advantage of the victim’s vulnerable state, leading her to the isolated shed where the assault occurred.

While the legal proceedings for both cases move forward, the incident has sparked conversations about the treatment of victims in the justice system. Advocates stress the importance of supporting victims of sexual assault, even when they are involved in separate legal matters. The police are continuing their investigation into both the rape and the road rage incidents.
