Actress Rashmika Mandanna, known for her roles in Pushpa and Animal, appeared at the trailer launch event of her upcoming historical drama Chhaava in Mumbai, sparking mixed reactions from fans. Rashmika, who recently fractured her leg during a gym session, arrived at the event in a wheelchair but surprised attendees by attempting to walk onto the stage on one leg. A viral video shows the actress struggling to climb the steps before being assisted by those around her, including co-star Vicky Kaushal. Dressed in a red and gold suit, Rashmika's determination caught many fans' attention.

However, her decision to appear on stage while injured sparked criticism. Some fans questioned why she didn’t remain in the wheelchair, calling her actions “unnecessary” and “undisciplined.” Despite the backlash, many praised Vicky Kaushal for stepping in to help, with his gesture winning hearts online.

Rashmika later addressed the situation, confirming her injury had also delayed the shooting of her film Sikkander. Despite her condition, she remains committed to promoting Chhaava, which is slated for release on February 14, 2025. Fans are eagerly awaiting the film, which highlights the bravery of Sambhaji Maharaj.
