Tata, widely regarded for his contributions to Indian industry, was given a ceremonial guard of honour by the Mumbai Police upon arrival at the crematorium. His passing marks the end of an era for Indian business, with the country mourning the loss of a leader known for his vision, integrity, and philanthropy.

Former President Ram Nath Kovind paid tribute to Tata, recalling his humility and simplicity despite his stature. Kovind highlighted how Tata, even as one of India's most prominent industrialists, remained grounded and respectful of protocol during official events at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Ratan Tata’s legacy goes beyond business, as he was deeply respected for his commitment to social causes and his dedication to the nation. His passing leaves a void in India’s industrial and philanthropic spheres, where he will be remembered as an icon of integrity, simplicity, and compassion.
