A substantial portion of the estate, including shares in Tata Sons and other financial assets, will be directed to these two charitable entities. Additionally, a third of Tata's personal financial holdings, valued at ₹800 crore, will be divided among his half-sisters, Shireen and Deanna Jejeebhoy, and close family friend Mohini M. Dutta.
Tata’s brother, Jimmy Naval Tata, is set to inherit a share of the family’s Juhu bungalow, while friend Mehli Mistry will receive the Alibaug property and Tata's prized collection of firearms. The will also includes provisions for Tata’s pets, with ₹12 lakh earmarked for their care.
Further, Tata’s assistant, Shantanu Naidu, will have his student loan forgiven, while neighbor Jake Malite will receive an interest-free education loan. The probate process, expected to take six months, will finalize the distribution of Tata’s global assets, including properties in Seychelles and a collection of luxury watches.
