Shastri’s deep connection to the temple began decades ago when he and his wife sought blessings due to childlessness. Following their visit and service to the Naga deity, they were blessed with a baby girl. Since then, Shastri has remained devoted, regularly visiting the temple to offer prayers and perform rituals.

Since 2007, he has visited Erlapadi 13 times in a row, engaging in Naga Darshan and performing sacred rituals such as Panchamrutha Abhishekam, Elanirin Abhishekam, Kalpokta Puja, and Nagathambila Seva. His commitment to these offerings has remained unwavering, and he continues to visit a couple of times each year.

On this visit, Shastri once again performed special pujas and rituals to seek the blessings of Naga Dev. His continued devotion to the temple reflects his strong faith and deep personal connection with Erlapadi’s spiritual heritage. His visits have made the temple a point of curiosity and reverence among his followers and cricket fans alike.
