Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) secured a 12-run victory over Mumbai Indians in their latest IPL clash, marking their third win in four matches. The win bolstered RCB’s confidence and lifted their points tally to six. However, the victory did not result in a significant change in the points table standings.

RCB remains in third place, trailing behind Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans. Delhi Capitals continue to dominate the table, sitting at the top spot with three wins from three matches. Their superior net run rate gives them the edge over Gujarat Titans, who have also won three out of four games and are placed second.

Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, have slipped further after their defeat and now occupy the 8th position. With their form dipping, the pressure is mounting as the tournament progresses.

Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders are tied in fourth and fifth positions respectively, followed by Lucknow Supergiants (6th) and Rajasthan Royals (7th). Chennai Super Kings are struggling in 9th place, while Sunrisers Hyderabad are languishing at the bottom of the table, still searching for momentum.

As the league heats up, the battle for the playoff spots is intensifying, with top teams looking to maintain consistency and others hoping to turn their fortunes around in the coming matches.
