RCB bowler Yash Dayal faces sexual harassment allegations, police inquiry underway

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) pacer Yash Dayal is at the centre of controversy after a woman came forward accusing him of sexual harassment. The young woman, who claims to be Dayal’s former girlfriend, has shared screenshots of alleged video calls and old chats, some dating back to 2022 when Dayal was with Gujarat Titans. These screenshots have now gone viral on social media, sparking widespread discussion among fans and the cricket fraternity.

In her post, the woman wrote an emotional note expressing her anguish over what she described as betrayal and emotional trauma. She accused Dayal of “using and discarding women” and urged people to understand that true success comes from honesty and respect in relationships, not fame alone. “I tried to leave everything to God and move on, but the pain you caused to my heart and feelings cannot be forgotten,” she stated in her post.

She further wrote that she hopes her experience opens people’s eyes to the reality behind Dayal’s image. The leaked chats, where Dayal allegedly greets her with “Hi love” and shares other personal messages, have now raised serious questions about his behaviour.

Following these revelations, the Ghaziabad Police have registered a case and have already recorded the statement of the complainant. Officials have also issued a notice summoning Yash Dayal for questioning regarding the allegations. So far, Dayal has not issued any public statement responding to the accusations.
