Dreams do come true as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won their maiden title across leagues by beating Delhi Capital by 8 wickets at New Delhi. With this, the ladies lifted the Women’s Premier League 2024.
Chasing 114, RCB romped home in the 20th over, propelled by a 37-ball 35 by Ellyse Perry. Even as the team achieved the impossible, wishes continued to pour in.
Vijay Mallya wrote on X, “Heartiest congratulations to the RCB Women’s Team for winning the WPL. It would be a fantastic double if the RCB Men’s Team won the IPL which is long overdue. Good Luck.”
