As the much-anticipated IPL 2025 final between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings takes place today at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat, Bengaluru Police have issued a stern advisory to local fans: celebrate responsibly or face legal consequences.

Citizens have been urged to avoid public disturbances such as blocking roads, setting tires on fire, disrupting traffic, or damaging public property. Law enforcement officials stated that any such actions will lead to immediate FIRs and strict action.
Security has been tightened in high-footfall areas such as MG Road, Koramangala, Indira Nagar, and the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium area. Special attention is being given to venues hosting public screenings of the match, with police closely monitoring crowd behavior.
Social media activity will also be under scrutiny. Posts deemed provocative or obscene may attract police action. Furthermore, pubs, clubs, and star hotels have been instructed not to extend operating hours beyond the mandated usual hours.
Bengaluru Police have appealed to fans to enjoy the match but stay within legal boundaries, reminding all that team spirit should not come at the cost of public peace.
