Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has emerged as the most-followed team on Instagram, surpassing Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The franchise, known for its style and immense fan craze, now leads the social media race among IPL teams.

As per the latest figures, RCB has 17,762,235 Instagram followers, overtaking CSK’s 17,758,030. Mumbai Indians follow with 16.2 million, while Kolkata Knight Riders (7 million), Gujarat Titans (4.5 million), Rajasthan Royals (4.7 million), Punjab Kings (3.7 million), and Sunrisers Hyderabad (37.8K) trail behind.
RCB’s rising fan engagement coincides with its recent on-field success. In a historic match at Chennai’s Chepauk Stadium, RCB defeated CSK by 50 runs, marking its first win at the venue in 17 years. Batting first, RCB posted 197/7, with captain Rajat Patidar scoring a crucial half-century. In response, CSK managed only 146 runs, suffering a heavy defeat.
The victory has significantly boosted RCB’s popularity, with an influx of new followers. The team’s strong social media presence, coupled with its performance on the field, has reinforced its status as one of the most beloved IPL franchises.
