The team is set to arrive in Bengaluru today at 1:30 pm via a special flight landing at HAL Airport. Grand celebrations have been planned across the city, with the Karnataka government set to felicitate the champions at Vidhana Soudha grand steps at 4 pm. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will honour the players during the official event. However, police have clarified that the Vidhana Soudha program is restricted to invited dignitaries, and no fans will be allowed due to security concerns, as the High Court is nearby.
The main public celebration will take place at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium from 5 to 6 pm. Entry will be permitted only to those with valid passes or tickets. Bengaluru Police have advised fans to use the metro due to limited parking availability around the stadium.
Speaking on the arrangements, DPR Secretary Satyavati stated that while the Vidhana Soudha event will be ceremonial, fans should head to Chinnaswamy Stadium to join the public festivities.
For RCB fans, who have waited nearly two decades for this moment, the celebration today is nothing short of historic.
