‘Recovery has been very slow and very tough,’ ; Naveen Polishetty opens up about injuries caused by bike accident

Tollywood actor Naveen Polishetty was last seen in ‘Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty’ which was released in 2023 alongside actress Anushka Shetty. He however unfortunately met with a bike accident in Dallas, USA in March 2024. “Sharing a personal update with you all. Unfortunately, I recently suffered severe multiple fractures in my right hand and injured my leg too. It has been a tough and painful time for me. Especially creatively, as I can’t shoot films and connect with you through my craft. Sorry that I am not able to bring to you films as fast as I would like to because of this injury,” Naveen stated in a post on the social media website Instagram.

Naveen is reported to have lost control and the eventual skidding is said to have resulted in injuries to his arm. “Recovery has been very slow and very tough but I am working closely with medical professionals towards complete recovery so I can perform at my energetic best for you all. While this may take a few more months, I am determined to come back stronger and healthier than before. The good news is I am very excited for my upcoming films. The development work is going on in full swing everyday and I will be shooting them post full recovery,” Naveen’s post mentioned. Naveen’s upcoming projects include ‘Anaganaga Oka Raju’ wherein he would be featured alongside actress Sreeleela.
