Pai, who endured six years of struggle before finding success, reflected on his turbulent journey. From launching five failed businesses to losing ₹2 crore, facing financial ruin, and even suffering partial paralysis, his path to success was anything but easy. Despite skepticism from family and friends, Pai remained determined, believing in his vision.
His perseverance paid off as ReferRush was chosen from over 2,400 applicants as one of the nine startups to receive the WTFund grant. Pai credited this opportunity as a major turning point, highlighting how his company grew from generating ₹1 lakh in four months to ₹1.5 lakh daily, now operating profitably.
Acknowledging Kamath’s support, Pai emphasized the significance of the grant in accelerating his startup’s journey. He expressed appreciation for those who stood by him and encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs to stay resilient.
WTFund’s second cohort features 22 founders across nine startups, offering up to ₹20 lakh in funding along with strategic guidance. With Kamath’s backing, Pai envisions ReferRush becoming an essential tool for global e-commerce brands.
