In response to recent allegations of cheating involving a dance troupe, renowned choreographer Remo D'Souza and his wife Lizelle D'Souza have broken their silence, expressing their disappointment over the accusations. The couple took to Instagram to address the matter, calling for restraint in spreading unverified information.

The controversy emerged after reports claimed a case was filed against the couple in Thane district, accusing them of cheating a dance troupe of ₹11.96 crore. The case, based on a complaint from a 26-year-old dancer, alleges that the troupe was deceived between 2018 and July 2024. Remo and the other accused are said to have claimed the troupe’s prize money after a television show performance.

In their joint statement, the D’Souzas expressed their dismay, stating, "It’s disheartening that such information has been published." They also emphasized their intention to cooperate fully with the authorities and assured their fans that they will present their side of the story soon.

“We request everyone to refrain from spreading rumors without knowing the facts,” the statement added.

Remo, known for his role as a judge on several dance reality shows, including "Dance India Dance" and "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa," thanked his supporters for their loyalty as they face this legal battle.
