The case

Darshan and several accomplices have been arrested for allegedly kidnapping and murdering Renukaswamy. The incident followed Renukaswamy's harassment of Pavitra Gowda with lewd messages. Darshan, reportedly enraged by the harassment, masterminded the abduction. The victim was subjected to electric shocks before his body was disposed of in a drain. Authorities apprehended Darshan at a gym in Mysuru. Further investigations are ongoing to determine the involvement of other suspects and the exact sequence of events. This case has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting concerns over vigilantism and violent retribution.

Darshan and others involved in the alleged kidnapping and murder of Renukaswamy have been remanded in judicial custody at Parappana Agrahara. Darshan has received visits from dignitaries, including Prem, Rakshith, as well as his mother and brother. Pavitra Gowda, identified as A1 in the case, has also been visited by her mother and brother. Darshan, designated as A2, is accused of masterminding the abduction following Renukaswamy's harassment of Gowda. The judicial proceedings are ongoing as the community watches closely for further developments in this high-profile case.
