Renukaswamy murder case has created negative vibes for Sandalwood film industry: Nikitha Swamy

Sandalwood actress Nikitha Swamy has opined on the case pertaining to the murder of Renukaswamy in which Sandalwood actor Darshan also referred to as the Challenging Star is currently behind bars. She is yet another actress who has spoken in support of Darshan. “I hope Darshan comes out of his current predicament after having been proven to be innocent. This case has created a negative vibes around the Sandalwood film industry. Darshan has established a brand for himself over the years in the Kannada film industry and I hope that brand persists,” she said in an interaction with NewsFirst.

Nikitha Swamy claimed that she has been a fan of Darshan ever since she was a child. She however conceded that Renukaswamy’s family is also deserving of justice. She however highlighted the menace of obscene messages that women in the film industry have to deal with. She qualified her statement by adding that although this is something that affects women in the film industry, it is also present at a larger scale in society and even college going students are affected by this. She talked about dealing with it at a personal level by blocking such numbers. Taking a legal route she felt was cumbersome and hence difficult to pursue amidst a busy work schedule.
