CM Siddaramaiah firmly stated that there has been no external pressure on the police handling the Darshan case. "There is no pressure from any quarters—whether from ministers, MLAs, activists, or opposition leaders," he emphasized. "The police have been granted full autonomy to conduct their investigation without interference."
The Chief Minister reassured the public that the government remains committed to impartiality in legal matters. "We do not interfere in any cases," he continued. "Anyone found guilty, including those involved in this case, will face the consequences according to the law."
Siddaramaiah also referenced another high-profile case, involving the Revanna family, to highlight the government's consistent approach to upholding justice. "In both cases, the police have been empowered to act independently, ensuring that justice prevails without any obstructions."
As the investigation into Renukaswamy's murder continues, Siddaramaiah's comments aim to bolster public confidence in the judicial process and affirm the state's dedication to an unbiased and thorough pursuit of justice.
