Darshan, the second accused (A2) in the high-profile Renukaswamy murder case, has become a notable figure among his fellow inmates in Parappana Agrahara prison. Sources report that undertrials have been mobbing Darshan, eager to catch a glimpse of him. Known for his friendly demeanor, Darshan has been interacting with them politely and even attended the birthday party of Siddapura Sunil, an accused in three murder cases.

Despite his growing popularity in prison, Darshan’s legal battles continue. Recently, the Karnataka High Court denied his request for homemade food, directing him to approach the subordinate judiciary to address his plea. Darshan was arrested last June in Mysuru, where he was found gymming. His arrest was part of a broader crackdown that has seen 17 individuals incarcerated in connection with the Renukaswamy murder case.
